There are a lot of challenges faced by women in business. When it comes to starting and running a business, women share commonalities with men including the likelihood of opening a business at home, needing help to start a business plan, funding challenges and starting as sole proprietorships. However, despite the commonalities, women are less likely than men to receive funding, which makes it difficult to hire employees, rent space and other cash flow related issues.
Our goal is to help women who are about to or have just started a business gain access to resources that will help in growing and sustaining businesses. Throughout the year we will hold special workshops and offer services to women-owned businesses.
